2 year warranty?

I purchased this strimmer in May 2021. It was put away over the winter months (Oct-Mar). I just recently resurrected it so I could cut my grass bank. On pulling the starter cord the rope just slipped and did not engage the motor. I contacted the seller and it appears that the plastic part (shown) is at fault. They insist it is a wearable part and therefore not covered by the warranty. Not everyone has an Allen key to remove the starter unit yet alone the ability to replace it. It’s not like changing a battery in a torch.
I can not recommend this strimmer, the part should not fail after only 4 months use and certainly not have to pay for a replacement part and fit it myself. Read full review...
