good switch at a reasonable price.

Good so far, BUT , the only problem I had, was that the black nickle nut from the dimmer module I needed to remove (from a black nickle plate, wouldn't fit this new on/off switch, as these have a coarser thread, for the securing nut, so I was forced to use this new (silver ) nut, to hold the module into the plate, which is a 2-gang, so this is next to a module with it's black nickle securing nut.

Apart from this annoyance, the switch works fine, so no complaints about how it works.Would be nice if there was a 'fine' thread version, for situations where the original securing nut needs to be re-used.Read full review

A bit expensive for a simple on off switch.

This unit fitted my backplate perfectly, but I thought it was too expensive compared to the complexity of a dimmer switch. I would have thought a couple of pounds for the switch and just a little more for delivery, say under a fiver all in would have been acceptable.
I recently bought a double dimmer complete for £6.99, that was suitable for led and conventional lamps, that included the backplate, screws and knobs.
So at over £7 for a single on off module, I thought it was quite dear.
It does the job though of having one dimmed set of lights, and one not, on the same double backplate.Read full review
