I found this vacuum light and easy to use. For a cordless vacuum it has a good amount of suction, though the edges do need a bit of a going over with the edge tool. The tools are very easy to attach and use. I do find that when in hand held mode it tends to fall over unless I am actually holding it. Emptying is easy and washing the filter simple. All in all, a very good buy, especially at the price on this site. I would recommend.Read full review

Gets blocked easy .does pick up fine when used as upright and batteries full and the brush going but utterly useless when using attachments or pipe to clean stairs no suction what so ever .

Vax Cordless Duo_wonderful
Have had a Vax for many years so decided to wait for this make in the cordless version and it doesn't disappoint. Easy to use, light and manoeverable , easy to empty. Lives up to the reliablility and quality I have been used to from Vax. Only small issue is that the battery warning lights don't work as described in the manual and when power goes the machine just stops. However, because the second battery is always charged and ready that's not really a problem. Would definitely recommend. Friends have both GTech airam and Dyson and my vax is as good as both if not better.Read full review

Lightweight and manoeverable
I love my new Vax! It's easy to use and oh so convenient. I just take it out and go. No unwinding the cord, plugging in and then being limited by the cord length. It's easy to empty and gets the cat hairs that are the bain of my life. I charge the battery after I've finished, so it's always ready to go, and it's so lightweight compared to my old Vax upright cleaner.

Worth the money
I was very sceptical about this purchase. Really concerned about how a rechargeable vac would perform, especially as I have dogs and cats, who, as is their nature, tend to leave a vast quantity of hair, literally everywhere. Now a dreaded chore has become a daily delight. The vac is light, manoeuvrable, picks up all it comes across with ease, and, although I have two batteries, unless I am doing a particularly thorough spring clean, I can Hoover my 3bed bungalow easily on one battery with plenty to spare. The whole job is so much quicker too, done in a jiffy!! Have no fear, it's the best investment I've made in years.Read full review

A great cordless vacuum
This was the first cordless vacuum I have purchased and I am very pleased with it. It already had some charge in the battery so I was able to try it out as soon as it arrived. Probably I little heavier than I expected when carrying the body off the main stem to do the stairs, but a lightweight vacuum to push around for normal vacuuming.
