Vax S86SFCC Classic Steam Cleaner - White

Great cleaning tool

I started using it on my tiled floors it was great. The triangular shape of the head enables it to get into corners with easy. As yet I haven't tried using the detergent as well as steam this is an added bonus.
Have used the handheld part as yet only once but again impressed with the power and am planning a really good spring clean of my bathroom tiles etc.

Soaks the floor

After looking at combo steamers I decided to buy this one as I was on a budget after moving home , after checking the prices on various sites, I found this one on Argos eBay to be the cheapest for this model, it comes with lots of attachments for various uses which was great! Including windows it was priced on the Vax site at £89.99 on Argos online it was £79.99 on Argos eBay £69.99 so I got my savings here, the only thing I can fault on this is if ur doing the floors if laminate depending how long you use it on the floor it can leave it pretty wet not soaking but pretty wet I think like most it’s a once over machine , I didn’t see much difference using the detergent which could become costly so looking into what else can be used in place all in all though a great buy it could have done with having extra pads as you only get the one with it! A Powerful well built cleaner

This made quick work of my kitchen floor and I was able to finish in a quarter of the time it took my old cleaner. You can add Steam Cleaning solution to the top tank that helps to cut through the dirt in no time and it leaves a nice fragrance too. It also comes apart and can then be used as a hand held steam cleaner which is always really helpful in reaching those hard to reach areas. I also like the fact that you can keep all the tools on board. It can stand up by itself when left. I like the Velcro fixing of the cleaning pads which are easy to remove and put on. It says it can be used on carpets but i have yet to try this. Its probably not the lightest machine on the market though but I have had 3 cleaners and this seems to be best by farRead full review

If there was one thing it could do with is a slightly bigger
Water and detergent tanks say twice the size/volume
So your not having to refill to often

Great steam mop

Bought this steam mop and wish I'd bought one ages ago. It's easy to use, lightweight and a good length cord. Floor came up beautiful and didn't take long before they where dry. Even used it on my rug which freshened it up nicely. Definitely reccomend this mop.Read full review

Powerful lightweight and easy to use

I've owned several steam cleaners and this is by far the best. The triangular head fits into most spaces and the handheld is well designed being easy to hold and lightweight. The attachments are easy to fit and remove and the steam nozzle is powerful. It targets upholstery and carpet stains perfectly. The pad for the cleaning head couldn't be simpler to attach. VAX S86-SF-CC 1600w steam fresh combo steam mop

It's easy to use, cleans floors very well using the VAX detergent. It's quite lightweight and gets into nooks and crannies quite easily and perfectly cleans up to skirting boards. It is not a lightweight steam mop but it is very good

The Vax steam mop is quite heavy and requires a lot of muscle to move around. It is easy to use and with the triangular head you can get into most tight corners. The accessories allow you to steam clean other surfaces. I tried it with the grouting between the tiles in my shower and I was amazed how well it did.Read full review

For a lightweight machine it packs a heavyweight punch!

I bought this Vax steam cleaner when the Vax I'd had for a good few years finally died through overwork I think! I wouldn't buy another brand as I'm so pleased with the Vax product. Its simple to use and extremely lightweight, but packs a powerful punch - I have a very elderly labrador who leaves various little unwanted presents around the house, and this cleaning tool is an absoluute necessity.
