Great on carpets

Bought this as a second hoover to our bulky Henry. Aim was to use this for the cat litter and fur and keep the Henry for big cleans.

So much easier to pull this out and blitz a room. Can do a quick clean of a 3 bedroom house and only use 50% battery. Cleans carpets really well, doesn't need the boost much. Reasonable on hard floors but need the crevice tool on hand. Can't gauge long term battery life, but I tend to do shorter more frequent cleans.

Comes with a wall mount which works well enough but the power cable isn't integrated.

Fills up pretty fast, especially with 2 cats. Easy enough to empty as it's 1 button. Is a bit messier than a bag cleaner so be careful if emptying outside when it's windy.

I would recommend this for small-mid sizes homes, not big enough for very big homes unless you use it as a secondary.

Great on stairs as it's light with no cable, especially if you have mobility issues or weakness.

Better on carpets than hard flooring.

I put the wall mount on a wooden Square to hold the vax further from the wall and skirting board as it holds it at an angle.

I got this half price as the box was damaged(apparently). Is a bit expensive full price and there is a lot of good competition, but I'll still give it 4/5 stars.Read full review

No redeeming features, absolute waste of money.

This is one of the worst vacuum cleaners I have ever owned. There is barely any suction despite constantly emptying it, cleaning out tubes and filters. Every time I use it it spits bits back out on the floor when I turn it off. The crevice tools rotate round when using them. The turbo power needs to be on all the time to create minimal suction and this drains the battery quicker meaning you can't hoover more than a couple of small rooms before needing to charge it again. It also makes a screeching noise when the rotating brush is activated. Absolute waste of money.Read full review

First class product with good performance.

This product seems very well made. The suction is every bit as good as my full size upright Vax, and the battery charge lasted for a full vacuum of my bungalow. Although it seems at first to be quite heavy in the hand as all the weight is at the top, when in use, the wheels take some of this weight and make it more manageable . It is so good not having to trail a cord and keep avoiding it. First class product at a very reasonable price, and no damage despite the title.Read full review

Has more strength than I expected. Easy to assemble and swap tools etc.

It's easy to use except for one thing which I think is a product failing - the handle includes a tiny power switch and I find it too easy to accidentally turn it off while it's in use.

I bought this principally to be able to vacuum the stairs without cable and in that respect it's ideal - I would buy the same product again.Read full review

Great easy to use and a great price

Very easy to use, when using the boost function I think it is as good as my plug in vax. gets the jpb done quickly and great to get out for little misshaps. I don't have animals but I craft and sew and my carpets are covered in threads, no problem for this machine. I received a brand new product with a small dent and tear in the box. Read full review

Just what I wanted.

The Vax was easy to assemble and start using right away. The suction power was very good on my carpets. The dust bin is a bit small and fills up quite quickly, but is easy enough to empty. Ideal for use on a boat

Good so far

Had this for 2 weeks good so far, Decent pickup for a cordless, much better with the boost pressed but this obviously reduces cleaning time, only blocked once and that was fairly easy to clear (masking take blocked other hose )

Annoying point : the power switch is placed right near where you hold the vac, so I keep turning it off whilst hoovering, not the end of the world but annoying.
Filters need to be cleaned fairly often from what I’ve seen but it’s not a big job to do,

Vax blade.

It has much more suction than the other two we have had, including Dyson. But it's not comfortable to use, it's not balanced in your hand and a join on the handle digs in your finger, there's nowhere to store the meagre tools, it has some very good features as in you can choose to have the brush bar running or not and the battery last long enough to vacuum our house. Very powerful lovely and light.

This Vax Blade 32V is brilliant.Very powerful,lovely and light.It came with 6 useful accessories plus a drawstring bag to keep them in.I have fixed the bracket to a kitchen wall so the Vax Blade sits very nicely out of the way.
The vacuum power compares very favourably to my upright vacuum of which I was getting tired of the size and weight.I can easily use the vacuum to clean inside my car as the Vax Blade is a hand held unit also, no more need for an extension cable.The battery power indicator is very easy to fathom and yes I have used the vacuum for 35 mins and there was still some charge left.The vacuum has a separate additional power boost and brush bar mode which is for the difference in hard flooring and carpeted areas.The instruction manual is very easy to follow regarding the easy emptying of the dust collector and the filter cleaning. A huge bonus is the 2 year guarantee as I had purchased the Vax Blade with the "damaged box" I didn't think the warranty would be with it. I am over 60 years of age and this is the most brilliant, easy to use vacuum that I have seen. I should have got one years ago !
