Although compact its actually very powerful. You need to go over a few times with no liquid dispensing but carpet dry enough to walk on straight after. Removed all the marks and lifted the pile. Not heavy like other machines. Only downside is the clean tank empties quite quickly but only expected on a compact model. Cant believe the muck that was brought out.
