I have to be honest I bought vax rapide 3 years ago when I got a puppy for cleaning up mess. And maybe in 2 yrs used in 12 times. For it to block up and stop lifting water. Then the roller bar stopped turning. No problem thought belt or motor was neither of these and now have new spare motor. Was loose wire. So cleaned floor 2 more time before same thing happened. This time checking with multi meter was drop in power from 220v to 5v and spare parts not available. I purchased refurbished unit only to make use of almost new part I had and spare motor. I won't pay full price again for a vax the build quality is poor and components not supported for repairs. Refurbished unit working 2 times used. But again with refurbished unit only half parts arrived and some plastics chewed by previous owners dog. Very poor refurbishment to me shows the issue probably wiring related again as not replaced damaged tank cap.Read full review
