The vax rapid is a cheap machine it’s very plasticky but the machine is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre and it has really done a good job on my carpets

Vax W91-RS-B-A Vax reconditioned Carpet Washer.
This model quite surprised me. We purchased a Vax Rapide Washer years ago when they first came out. This was a good machine, but very heavy. The tools were awkward to use. All those problems have gone with the newer model. The tanks a smaller, lighter and easy to fill and empty. The filter is very easy to clean and install unlike its predecessor. Cleaning power seems to have increased. I was able to remove stubborn marks from my lounge carpet. The instructions for use are much simpler and the machine does not leave operational groves in the carpet. The original model recommended a complicated curved cleaning pattern on the floor to avoid this. Now all I have to do is to push forward in a straight line releasing cleaner and pull back to suck up water. It is early days I but I feel this is a winner.Read full review
