Good value for money, tools lacking…
This is a great purchase for a first time house. Good value for money, reputable company, easy to use & lightweight. The only downside is the ‘tools’ it comes with. There is only 1 slot for storage & it comes with 2. One is a ‘multi -tool’ this will go in the slot, inevitably, the other ( a brush type) will probably get lost. The multi tool has a slide action to reveal the narrow tube that does edges & ‘might’ just fit in the gaps of the car seats too when needed. Read full review

Vax Mach upright
I bought this to replace a much loved Dyson and I was on a budget. It’s very light, the hose is fiddly and attachment doesn’t always stay on. Hose is not as long as I had hoped. It is quiet and easy to empty. Only couple of gripes is lead could be longer and cleaning out the brush bar is a nightmare. My daughter and I have long hair and I have to clear it fortnightly. You can tell a man designed the brush bar!! All in all not a bad cheap replacement but I would go back to my regular brand.Read full review

I am so pleased with this Vax vacuum cleaner. It is surprisingly powerful! The attachments are good too, I found the wooden shutters easy to clean with brush tool. If I had one complaint, it would be that the cord is so long, it does get in the way a bit. But overall it's great.Read full review

Haven't yet given this vacuum a thorough test hence 4 stars but initial impression is good. It is light and compact although the hose is very short. My previous Vac corded vacuum lasted 12 years so hope this one will last just as long. Replaced the old one only because one of the wheels kept falling off and we couldn't find a spare part to replace it.Read full review

Beats cordless vacuums by a mile
After having an ancient Vax for years, I went cordless - with that well-known brand beginning with D. It was light and easy to carry around and store - BUT... it was useless, not enough power to pick up bits of fluff and especially cat/litter grit. So bought this corded Vax and it’s great. Picks up everything. Will stick with corded from now on as tbh the cord really isn’t much of an inconvenience. The main thing is to have a vacuum cleaner that actually does what it’s supposed to, and this does.Read full review

OMG.......... what a great little cleaner. It's everything they say it is. Light, easy to use, brilliant pick up on carpets and hard floors. I have been using Dysons for years. When my last one went flash bang wallop I thought shall I pay to have it repaired or buy another. I chose to buy another but Dysons are expensive so I thought go for a cheaper one.
