Well made reliable charge controller providing lots of information via the Victron app
This smart charge controller gives me lots of information in the app including past peak power / battery high and low voltage/ total kwh and kwh per day. It also shows current battery voltage / state of charge and power coming from solar panels and to the battery. As stated it can handle 100v and 50 amps. I have 2 J solar 405 w panels in series on this producing about 70 v and putting up to 50 amps into my fork lift 12v battery bank. I have more charge controllers and panels supplying the battery bank but this charge controller is the brain of the system giving me the information I need to manage my power use and power storage for powering my house which uses about 6 kwh a day. 5 year warranty gives me peace of mind and indicates Victron's confidence in the reliability and quality of their products. Does exactly what you expect it to, very well
Victron products certainly are not the cheapest but in my opinion you definitely get what you pay. The quality is first class, customer support is fantastic and the way their various products interact with each other is really helpful.
The only slight criticism is the strength of their Bluetooth signal. No problem if you’re in a van or a boat but I have some of my equipment in a shed just outside the back door and I struggle to communicate with it when I’m in the house. Read full review...
