Good value for its price, but...

The build quality isn't great, but acceptable for its price.

It works fine on dry hair but not so much on wet. It isn't up to par with my old Rowenta CF7550EO, for example (a 5 year old model).

On the plus side, it does heat up pretty quickly, which will save you a few minutes in the morning. The LCD is also a nice feature.Read full review

Design flaw?

I got myself these wet to straight, my daughter loved them so I ordered her one too. Sadly whilst using them they started smoking 😐 we thought it might be the steam, which is normal with these, but when a plume of smoke started we panicked! They started making a crackling noise too. Unplugged and put them on the garden step for safety. The smoke came from the hinge area. Brought them in a few minutes later and they smelt like burn. The plug is fine and I'm 99.9% sure they are not counterfeit. I've no idea why it happened!?Read full review
