Vintage 60s Eterna Matic 1422UD Movement For Parts/Repair Not Running

Rare Eterna- matic Vintage watch in spectacular condition and excellent working order

Classic Style with a touch of Flash! Fantastic Eterna -matic wrist watch in near mint condition. The Crown is not original, but everything else appears to be. Fantastic watch to have now in my collection. Hard to find any watches that are circa 1960 that are such good condition. As far as time keeping goes it has been excellent and the quick set option for the date by pulling the crown out is also in great condition and good working order. - The only minor criticism is that the watch band which is brand new and elegant is a little small for my wrist and will have to be replaced. So hard to understand why this brand which is clearly one of Switzerland's best, being on par with Rolex and Omega (or better as the ETA movement with the ball bearings was used by virtually all of the other Swiss watch manufacturers) is not currently worth 3 or 4 times as much. However in time believe that the Eterna brand will get elevated to that status. In the mean times tremendous bargains to be found. Read full review
