"He lives forever" within these pages!

This book helps document a past historic "person". It gives "an ancestry" of its life, who saw it when, cared for it and how. To see the many wonderful photographs, taken at various stages in "his life" helps remind us that nothing lasts forever despite extraordinary efforts. We need to value what nature had given us at Franconia Notch. "The Old Man on the Mountain" looked out at many for so many years. He became weak and tired in his old age and left us. Just like a person, now all we have are photographs. I just wish we traveled to New Hampshire before May 3, 2003, the day he "died". The images of "'ole stone face" have been preserved for a life time in this book!
