Really helped rejuvenate my old deck!
I was really impressed with how clean it left the tape heads and how easy and simple it is to use.
I'm still find the demagnatizing feature a bit sketchy but maybe it does work, I'm not sure.

Well, when I first got this item, I was surprised to find that the solution bottles didn't pour out the solution onto the enclosed tape. It turns out that they have to be punctured first. This made me mad because I had nothing handy with which to do the puncturing, and I wanted to use the product in my car's cassette deck right away. I've bought similar items over the past few decades, and never before did I encounter one where the bottle of solution has to be punctured before it can be used. So, when I got home, I punctured one of the bottles by using a lapel pin. I then poured the solution onto the cassette in the appropriate slot. After inserting it into my tape deck and letting it go through two passes (once on each side), I still got the message "clean tape" on my deck. Every time that I play a tape, I still get the same message, so whether or not the product works, I can't say. All I wanted was a new bottle of solution, but this product was relatively cheap, so I went ahead and bought it. I just hope that I don't have any playability issues further down the road with my car's cassette deck, because it's highly unlikely that I'll find anywhere to take it to get the problem fixed. I mainly play CDs, so it's not really an issue right now.Read full review

I had a 1986 Cricket Doll from Playmates and the recorder in the dolls back
sounded warbled and distorted when a tape was played. I found Vinyl Styl Audio Cassette Head and Demagnet Cleaner and ordered it right away. I followed the instructions and after a could of time using the product I placed a tape back in the doll and she sounded GREAT!

How do I know whether this product has worked well, or indeed, at all! All I’m prepared to say is this; the tape deck in question hadn’t been used for 20ish years, ditto the tapes that were played afterwards, but after using this product, the audio quality sounded pretty damn good to me! I am a cassette enthusiast and got this to use in my walkman - after using it the sound is noticeably less noisy and certain cassettes that no longer work now do.

Really Cleans Up Your Tape Player! - Almost CD quality now!
I was skeptical, but this little device worked wonders! I had been cleaning my Walkman tape head with alcohol and Q-tips, and it sounded ok, but after using this, I thought I was listening to a CD! It must have something to do with the demagnetizer. I would be interested to know if the solution included is some sort of special formula or just plain rubbing alcohol. An absolute must-have, excellent product.
Have not used the tape deck in my car since 2006, just recently got a hold of some good cassetts. It shore didn't sound like my cd's or Bluetooth... it's a JBL system. After using the Vinyl Styl audio cassette head cleaner and demegnotizer sounds batter then CD! Defanetly recomend. Fixed what nothing else would!
My Technics RS-B11W has been a workhorse for me for years but after being in storage for almost a decade the left channel of one deck was no longer playing back. I cleaned everything tried all speaker cables and outputs and nothing worked. Hail Mary shot I bought this kit, ran the cassette twice and ALL SOUND IS BACK!
