Half a tin
Have used it but why put it in a pot twice the size as it looks half empty, yes it is 200g as I have checked but why not used a smaller pot or put 300g in it. stupid!!!

A lasting solution
One of my young Birches gets plagued by Aphids which attract a colony of ants that milk and protect the aphids. I've tried all sorts of things to no lasting avail. My last attempt was gaffer tape, sticky side out, around the trunk, which worked for two days. So I just covered the tape with a thin layer of the fruit tree grease. it's amazing; stopped them in their tracks. Now there are no ants to be seen.
