Using the Vitopod

It is working well at the moment. I have cuttings growing nicely at the moment, but they are under a Grolight. Care has to be taken that the trays do not dry out, Hints anyone?

Well made and useful

This is great product as it does exactly what it says it does. It maintains temperature very well even in the coldest of greenhouses and the extra layer allows you to grow in plants in the same environment as seeds which can be very useful. However it is expensive and is on the border of value for money as greenhouse equipment is rarely this costly. I would reccomend one but only to someone who could utilise it to the full as its a lot of money to have tied up in something that will not be in use all year round.Read full review

Love it!!

For me gardening is a hobby but I have always wanted a good propagator, as to heat my 14ft x 8ft greenhouse through the winter is very expensive. Its home is on the short wall of the greenhouse. Have only been using it for 4 weeks but have seen amazing results in plant growth since then. Peppers & aubergines had an amazing spurt after the first week. The thermostat/thermometer is both easy to use and read as the entire unit was to assemble. Currently being used with double height but this will be reduced to single over winter when it will be used for plant cuttings - the extra layer can easily be taken apart and stored flat to save space. Did consider cheaper alternatives but I guess you get what you pay for - the additional vents really do work. No wet on surfaces whilst maintaining humidity. So far no complaints.Read full review
