The size of drill collar is critical, and this press just takes a European standard 43mm. The inserts are for impossibly small drills. If you have an American drill, it probably won't fit. A USEFULL AND INEXPENSIVE ADDITION TO THE TOOL CUPBOARD

I bought this for a specific job and it performed well. I had intended to use an old drill in position but its larger chuck would not allow it to fit in through the holding clamp, a different drill was OK.

There is a tendency for sideways movement, but knowing this it can be dealt with and drill in an accurate position.Though its not the most solid and robust tool for occasional use in the hands of a competent D-I-Y person you can't go wrong. If you plan to use it every day I would suggest investing in something more robust.
