Good all round quality

This is a great double boiler. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star rating is that you do have to be careful of the aluminium. I use my boiler to melt oils and butters, and one day I knew I would need it again the following day so didn't wash it out. Unfortunately the oils damaged the coating of the boiler and exposed the aluminium. I had to buy a new one, and have since ensured that I wash it every time I use it. I have had no further problems.
