Best thing I've ever bought! Simple to install if you have slight mechanical knowledge, I have done around 100miles on this kit so far in mostly wet conditions without an issue! My friend has the 1000w kit and they're the same speed so maybe the controller governs this? It's good 👍 and the throttle is so smooth the bike does not jump when starting off.

To me is the best I just up graded and changed the controller because it's too fast so that o can maintain the speed by lcd.

Perfect for the price point.

So just to be honest from the start, I didn't expect too much from the components of this kit. However..

The motor is powerful, and works perfectly. I'm eventually going to hook it up to a VESC as this controller is ok but the motor might be able to be a little quieter with a programmable VESC.

I chose not to use the brakes, and pedal assist, as the wiring is too much for a commuter bike. Plus I wanted it to look sleek.

I get up to about 40-50mph on this motor, unless my gps is wrong.

The one downside is that the twist grip is just not effective for this bike. When not using the 250w mode, the twist grip is like ON or OFF. You either have 1500w or nothing. There is no inbetween. Not a problem, but when you want to accelerate slowly, this is not possible. A thumb grip should be used instead. But other than that, super fun, super easy installation.Read full review

Great kit, fast but you need a big battery

Great kit, it's fast, for best performance you'll need a big battery ,or you can put a rear rack on, and add another battery in parallel, to make more Amp hours, which means more range, but keeps voltage the same. Also more fine tuning can be had, if you also order the the lcd version controller, to fine tune you pedal assistant. overall it's a great kit. NOT as good as i hoped

wheel was very powerful, noticably more power than 1000w,
but was found to be large gaps in the pas,
on power 1, it was very limited, 3-5mph, which was good
but no power for inclines, power 2 over the top, 11-14 mph, and good power on inclines, but too fast for off road,
so will be going back to a 1000w motor and upgrading the control box,
and also had problems with the pedel assist not working at all,

Kit isn't comparable with different bike types. I had 3 old bikes to try it on and it didn't fit on 2 if them. It clashes with disc brakes
