Great product

Great product. This seemed to be an expensive TV mount before I received it but given it is made for the job I was willing to pay - with some reservations. I have to say that this is a top-notch product! Feels and looks expensive and works really well. The arm articulation can be tightened up to almost fix the TV where you want it.

Fitting the Rivnuts is fiddly but if you can use a couple of spanners its relatively easy to achieve, (youtube has clips on fitting rivnuts without the proper tool) but a proper insert tool would make light work of this.

I did attempt to view the fitting instruction website prior to fitting it, but the site was down. Like I say, its not difficult to figure out how to do it. I think it took me less than 1/2 an hour to fit.

Brilliant, except...

While this is a strongly made item and easy to fit with all the supplied screws and plugs, it is let down by the +/- 15 degree tilt function.

To explain, yes it can tilt up and down but, once the TV is hung on it, it will only tilt down to the lowest position.

There is no facility for locking it in any position other than a hole which, if you put a pin through, would almost certainly shear it of (as in a guillotine)

I resolved the issue by cutting a small piece of wood and wedging it in place..... (it took a bit of experimenting to get the correct size, which is approximately 50mm x 432mm x 20mm (the crucial measurement is the 50mm as that will determine the angle the TV sits at (yours may need to be different...)))

If the manufacturer provided a set of different thickness shims, this bracket would be excellent......Read full review...

Heavy duty TV Bracket that is well engineered

This is a very robust, rigid and well engineered item, it was easy to fix with various sizes of vesa bolts supplied as well as wall plugss and neavy duty screws
Fitted in about 30 minutes.
the double arm double hinge makes it very stable if a little stiff at first.
It did exactly what I wanted it to do, the TV can be pulled forwards and angled left or right to 45 degrees.

Very good bracket for the price

The bracket comes with all the required hardware, even a leveller. So it's really easy to mount. Hold it against the wall where you want it, mark the holes and drill.

It's very sturdy. My TV is a Sony Bravia 55 inch and it feels really solid against the wall.

The only downside is that the bracket makes the tv lean forward just ever so slightly. Which isn't a problem if you hang it higher, like in a bedroom, but in a living room where it neeeds to be eye height it looks like it points downwards too much in my opinion. I managed to fix it by placing a little wooden block behind the bottom of the brackets that attach to the tv.

Heavy duty double hinged TV bracket

I've fitted a few tilting brackets and this is by far the best build quality one to date.
Fantastic value for money for a double hinged unit.

There is no play in the hinges like other manufacturers, so your tv doesn't tilt forward when you pull it out.

My only criticism is the heavy duty fixing bolts are made of soft steel.
So i still used 8mm rawl plugs with my own heavy duty screws and instead of 6 as supplied, I used 8 for good measure.

But all in all, this is the best adjustable bracket I have used and would highly recommend.Read full review...
