Does it's job very well

This trimmer does it's job pretty well. It did cut through some pretty thick branches. So glad I bought the 550w and not a smaller power. I just wonder how long that electric motor is going to last because occasionally it smelled like it's going to burn. It is a bid loud but for that price I guess it's alright. Read full review...

Light and easy to use

I bought this to replace my old Qualcast hedge trimmer that packed up. It feels lighter than the Qualcast and very easy to handle. I only use this to keep my decorative hedges neat & tidy and for that it does a great job (I have attached a couple of photos).
It is not heavy duty, so for those jobs (with thicker branches) I use a petrol hedge trimmer and cutters.
It does not have diamond cut blades, but I always lubricate the blades before and after use (to help keep them in good working order) and these work fine for me.Read full review...

Long 61cm blade

I bought this hedge trimmer to replace my old hedge trimmer which I had accidently chipped two teeth off by hitting a metal fence post bolt. I must say that while using it for the first time, I quickly realized the benifit of having a longer blade, it took just over an hour to complete the task of trimming all my hedges whereas before it would have taken nearer 2 hours, also the ease of the actual cutting due to a new sharp blade also added to the efficiency, it will slice through branches easily up to about 1cm thick. I read other reviews and people said it was quite noisey but in my opinion, all hedge trimmers are quite noisey and I found this one to be no louder the my old one or my neighbours hedge trimmer, who was also impressed with the longer blade. It come with a long cable but as I use an extention when I cut my hedges, make little difference to me. The only poor thing about this hedge trimmer is the blade cover, it's a bit cheap and fiddly compared to my old trimmer but it does work, so if you can live with that I would fully endorsed and recommend this product. Lightweight, impressive, powerful

I was a little wary of buying this as I'm usually disappointed the times I go for something which seems a lot cheaper than others of its kind. However, I absolutely love this trimmer! I am a bit of hedge trimmer novice but it my opinion, it is great - pretty light (given that I am a female!), I love the fact that the cable is bright orange as it really avoids you mistaking the cable for greenery and then cutting through it (which is what happened to the last one...several times!). long blade makes short work of larger jobs and cuts right to the end of the blade making the fiddly bits easier. powerful enough to cut anything (except fence wire ;) ) that fits in the slots.

Excellent value for money.

I bought this to replace my 26 year old Bosch, and it is comparable in every way (at less than half the price.) Fantastic long cable, the 61cm blade cuts easily through my hedge, even parts of around 12-16mm thick. No noisier than the Bosch, so all in all, I would reccomend it.Read full review...
