Good tool value and quality
Good on all points BUT take care if a DIY as the unit has an on/off switch rather than a trigger switch so it does not switch off if hands slip, I like the unit and recommend with that genteel warning.

Ok, too early to talk about long term reliability yet, but it makes a great impression!
Normally,on any tool at this price, you'd expect to have to file away loads of burrs and rough surfaces, re-cut or clean threads or worse. Not with this tool, mine was ready to go.

Newbie to "Routing"
Never having had a router/trimmer before I didn't know what to expect but being relativly cheap I wasn't expecting too much. However, it's very good, seems well built, can't say anithing yet about durability as it's too soon. For the price this is a good little unit. Seems to be well built. I've only used it on pine so can't say how it will perform with harder timbers.
If you're cutting free-hand it can be a bit difficult to see where you're cutting. A wider base or even a light would be handy.
For edging there were no problems at all.
