Works with my sear and stew slowcooker
I bought this solely to use with my sear and stew slowcooker pot as it's the only item which isn't suitable for my induction hob. After initial disappointment - onions and meat stewed rather than fried - my father came to the rescue and discovered that my "bottom" wasn't flat - on the slowcooker pot, not me personally! He gave it a sharp tap (again, the cooker pot, not my bottom!) and it works perfectly. My only issues are that the induction plate is discoloured and the marks can't be removed through washing, and it has slightly scratched the base of the (non-stick coated) cooking pot and that is my reason for giving a mark of 4 out of 5Read full review
