VonShef Mini Food Chopper - fast and efficient

I was looking for a food chopper with enough capacity to chop a couple of onions at a time. My previous food chopper was a smaller capacity and would only take a small amount at a time and eventually broke because I tried to chop several pieces from a large onion at once This one would take a large onion easily and is so fast and efficient you just need to be sure you don't over chop! I use it for preparing vegetables for soups, bolognaise and other recipes as I have to prepare lots of meals for family I don't put it into the dishwasher but just use a brush and soapy water for the glass bowl, blade and lid. I wipe the outside of the motor housing with a damp cloth if needed. After I got the first one I was so pleased, I bought two more for other people. Loose blade covers

I used the blender for the first time to blend my grandaughters food only to find one of the blade covers(black plastic) had come off and got cut up in the food. Good Food Processor

I've used the food chopper to process nuts and seeds. It chops its way through this type of food quite easily. When I used it to process carrots, I found that I had to cut them into smaller chunks, before the food chopper could do the processing. The food chopper is easy to clean after use. A fantastic machine - NOT DISHWASHER PROOF

I have not been as happy with a device as much as this for years. With a large capacity bowl, this device super speeds up the process of chopping up veg, dried herbs, nuts and even works brilliantly for pastry making. I LOVE IT.

It would deserve top marks except it’s not dishwasher proof. It’s clear that care is needed for cleaning blades and motor compartment but to have a fabulous product like this, a product you would use every day does not have a bowl with dishwasher proof glass.

Well worth buying but with regards to cleaning..

Simple, easy to use and wouldn’t be without it

I don’t know how I lived without this!
I’ve fussy monsters in my house who don’t like ‘bits’ in sauces and allergies galore meaning I won’t use jars and sachets as ingredients can have health effects.
Plus you can hide extra veg as everything is blitzed to a smooth consistency.
Great for homemade soups to.
Fairly compact, but big enough for most things (we have 4 in our house) otherwise I just do things in two lots, simple.

Like most buyers I like to read the reviews and I must say they were all very accurate.
"This is an amazing little blender". Please don't be put off by the price as it's worth every penny. Its a very powerful little gadget and very well made. Easy to assemble. I expected it to be noisy but to my amazement it's quite quiet. I absolutely love it. As you will see in the photo I've just used it (chopped some carrots)and it's definitely exceeded my expectations!!!

Best of the Best chopper ever bought.

Hi just bought this Vonchef chopper and I'm very glad I bought this. This is very powerful very easy to use reliable easy to clean and bowl is massive 1 Litre and heavy and strong. It's also not too noisy and chop very smooth just in 1 second if you do 4 or 5 second it can also make a paste or puree.

I'm going to buy another one to give my mom as a gift so she will be happy too

So I bought this after watching a Jamie Oliver cooking program in which he used a food processor and thought it would make my life easier and how right I was!!! I have a 7 and 4 year old and I normally finely grate veg into diners to hid them...well no more. This wee device is fantastic!! It chops in seconds and the longer you do it the finer the pieces are. It goes in the dishwasher and stores really easy. I wish I had bought ones years ago. I use it for everything!
