Mounted on a Ruger American Target. Very clear glass. adjustments are easy to use. Love the quick focus ring and the return to zero setting. First Vortex scope I have ever owned. But as good as some of my more expensive scope. Kind of surprising considering that it's made in China. But for the money, I am extremely pleased.Read full review

Looks great and works even better
I bought this scope for use on my Ruger 10/22 Takedown and it has not disappointed. The glass is clear and it works as well as more expensive scopes. The one issue I have with it is that it doesn't fit in the 10/22 carrying case while attached to the rifle. This may just be an issue with the case but I have read of other scopes that do fit. My fix to this is just using screw on/off scope rings. It isn't a great system since I need to sight it in each time but I can get over it. Overall, great clarity and good scope to plink away to your heart's content.Read full review

Great little scope
Vortex scopes have a great reputation. I own several. They sharp bright clear and easy to adjust. This 22 rimfire scope is very nice. I would like to say that I bought a Simmons 22 mag scope model 511039 at the same time i bought this one. It's a 3-9x 32mm. I like it just as much and it was less than half the price of the Vortex. I put this scope on my marlin xt22 22lr and it works like a champ. My groupings got way tighter and more accurate almost immediately. Excellent Scope!
I put this scope on a Remington 552 Speedmaster .22 semi-auto rifle. It zeroed in perfectly, and the sight picture was crystal clear. Once sighted in, I shot two groups (five shots each) and 50 yards with CCI Mini-Mag Hollow Point ammo. The cluster of bullet holes in both groups were small enough to completely cover with a dime. Good rimfire glass.
So, it's not perfect. I'll start there. However, for $100 (give or take) it's fantastic. At full x7 power, it's just a tiny bit hazy, but nothing drastic. It's the eye relief that I have an issue with. On 1-6x its fine. But when you get to full power at x7, you really have to be set up perfectly to avoid getting black edges. Definitely not a deal-breaker though. I'd buy this scope again if it broke, but since Vortex has a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty, I'll never have to worry about that. I may buy a second one for my dad though as he likes it as much as my daughter and I do.Read full review

For the money cant beat it the 50mm is big so you will have to use high rings i suggest Talley in order to clear barrel and bolt mounted on a remington 700cellent warranty well made very clear although 50mm you have to use high rings for sure(talley the best) to clear your bolt and barrell great for long shotsRead full review

Good rimfire scope for the money!
You can't go wrong purchasing this scope. It's hard to beat the Vortex for the money. Very clear optics, fair eye relief and positive adjustments. The reticle is much finer then the non rimfire scopes for shooting at small game and targets which is a big plus for this scope in my opinion. Parallax is set perfect for very close targets and is crystal clear at long distance. I mounted on my heavy barrel 10-22 target model using the Talley one piece low height rings and it is a very solid, dependable system!Read full review
