I amean hunter and love being outdoors with my firearms. I use Butler Creek scope covers and I found I would be purchasing a new pair every year. The spring would just keep popin the caps open when in the brush. I do hog hunting and deer and I'm pretty persisting when I'm stocking prey where he goes I follow and every year I get my deer and hog, I leave in California so that's pretty amazing. These caps no mater where I go they stay put, there a little more expensive but they come with lifetime warranty. I called vortex to make sure they said just send them in and will send you a new pair. In all there Tuff, fit is perfect and they really protect my scope. Buy them! The fit well and are very tough. I use athlon scopes because there a little better value then vortex but I have vortex covers on all 5 of my atlon scopes. I use to buy Butler Creek and hawke covers but they don't hold up to normal use. The defender covers are excellent!Read full review

The Best caps for your money

Every opitc I own gets Vortex caps. I tried the fancy aluminum Luepolds magnets fell out from recoil and they can be 3X the cost or more. These stay put, covers fold flat/ parallel to the optic so you aren't running them at 90* like Mickey mouse ears increacing the rifles profile.Read full review
