Virtually No Fling

I bought a double pack, so paid just over £9 per can which is very good value. I had already used a whole can before this so I knew it was a good product.

It's easy to apply, just needing to give the can a good shake before hand. It has a ball bearing inside like spray paint to agitate the liquid. It doesn't come with a nozzle extension pipe, and the nozzle itself has a 1cm long pipe on it already. This does mean I get a bit of over spray, but it's a very small amount.

The liquid dries very quickly, before you've done the whole chain, so I mark the first link so i know when I've gone the whole way round.

Depending on how wet the roads are I need to reapply every 400 - 600 miles. The best part is there is virtually no fling onto the back wheel and tyre.Read full review

Wurth High Performance Dry Chain Lube

Best dry chain lube on the market. I commute by motorbike daily regardless the weather and I've been using it for years. It's ideal for dry conditions. It can handle wet conditions too, but has to be applied much more often so I tend to use the "heavier", stickier and messy ceramic wax based products during winter months. Just follow the application instructions (apply on clean, hot chain) and you're good to go for a month. Make sure it doesn't go on your rear tyre/brake-pads when spraying otherwise you'll get a nasty surprise!Read full review

Wurth High Performance Dry Chain Lube

This product is excellent. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It applies easy and does not turn your chain white or sticky like other dry chain lubes and wax on the market. Long lasting and excellent at clinging to the chain. Another good point is that it does not splatter your back tyre or bike when riding, even if you apply it excessively. No fling lubricant

Always use this product for cleaning and lubing the chain on my motorcycle. The brake cleaner has similar properties to the chain cleaner made by Wurth and can be used for the chain also - I checked this with Wurth to make sure!. Great chain lube

Good lube....I think

I’ve always been sceptical of dry lubes, but the rest of the world has bought into the idea so I’ve finally given them ago.
So far so good. I’ve been using the lube on my mountain bikes for about a month. Up to now there is no signs of chain of chain ring wear. The only thing I find is it only lasts for 1 ride (approx 50km), after that I can hear the chain making a noise. Now there maybe still lube on the chain doing its thing, but I relube and all is good for another ride. After all a bit of lube is a lot cheaper than a new chain and chain rings.Read full review
