wrestlemania 24 fantastic pay per view

weve had the 2008 royal rumble, weve had no way out 2008, backlash 2008, judgement day 2008, one night stand 2008, night of champions 2008 and the great american bash 2008. summerslam 2008 is fast approaching in the wwe but the best pay per view of 2008 so far has to be Wrestlemania 24!
the wrestlemania's just keep getting better and better in my opinion.
the 74,000 fans that attended the citrus bowl in orlando florida had a treat and a half when the superstars of raw, smackdown and ecw provided one of the best wrestlemanias ever!
the matches at this outstanding event were:

belfast brawl:
jbl vs finlay
jbl and finlay used the title of the match to the full advantage i think, tables, chairs and trash cans were used in this good opener for wrestlemania. 4/5

money in the bank ladder match:
chris jericho vs shelton benjamin vs john morrison vs carlito vs cm punk vs mvp vs mr. kennedy
weve had money in the bank ladder matches at wrestlemania for 3 years now, and at every wrestlemania they just keep getting better and better, i dont jknow how they do it, every superstar put there body and career on the line to win this match. some great moves were performed by every superstar. great match 5/5

battle for brand supremacy:
batista vs umaga
this wasnt the best match on the card, i think this should have been the opener, but it was still a good match, batista showed great strength at the end by batista bombing the samoan bulldozer umaga. 3.5/5

ecw championship match:
kane vs chavo guerrero
this match was fantastic, all 8 seconds of it. 5/5

career threatening match:
shawn michaels vs ric flair
ric flair had fought over 6 superstars in career threatening matches a within a few months before wrestlemania but when it came down to it, the nature boy could not overcome the heartbreak kid shawn michaels. this match was great michaels had to perform 3 sweet chin musics to keep the nature boy down and put an end to his career, but in the end the better man one on the night. 5*/5

playboy bunnymania lumberjack match:
maria & ashley vs beth pheonix & melina
i love to see women wrestle but for me this was a pointless match, snoop dog was outside the ring the whole match, and then finally got involved at the end when he clotheslined santino morella, 3/5

triple threat match for the wwe championship:
triple h vs randy orton vs john cena
this was a fantastic triple threst match, not the best triple threat match ever but still good, all three superstars put up a great performance, 5/5

the biggest vs the best:
floyd "money" mayweather vs the big show
this match could of been put on the card a bit earlier in the night, good match though, chairs and brass knuckles were used. 3.5/5

world heavyweight championship match:
the undertaker vs edge
this match was the best on the card without a doubt, taker and edge had a few more battles over the next couple of months at backlash and judgement day etc. but this was the best fight of then all, i didnt want this to end at all, edge put up one hell of a fight, kicking out of the tombstone piledriver, chokeslam and last ride, taker also putting up a great fight kicking out of the edgeacution and spear. this was a classic match! i think this is set to be the best main event of all time.

this wrestlemania is a astonoshing wrestlemania, it is one i will never forget, and whoever is thinking of getting it GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Read full review...

Belfast Brawl JBL vs Finlay
Lots of weapons and the return of Hornswoggle make this a very entertaining opener

Money In The Bank Chris Jericho vs Shelton Benjamin vs John Morrison vs Carlito vs CM Punk vs MVP vs MR. Kennedy
The Best Money In The Bank so far watch for Shelton breaking a ladder and a suprise appearance by Matt Hardy

Battle for Brand Supremacy Batista vs Umaga
Not the best of matches and a little short but a good power struggle between 2 very strong superstars none the less

ECW Championship Match Kane vs Chavo Guerrero
Extremely short but amusing none the less

Career Threatening Match Shawn Michaels vs Ric Flair
A truly emotional rollercoaster - A*

Playboy Bunnymania Lumberjack Match Maria & Ashley vs Beth Phoenix & Melina
Nothing amazing but worth it to see Santino get clotheslined by Snoop Doggy Dogg.

Triple Threat WWE Championship HHH vs Randy Orton vs John Cena
Very exciting and maybe not the ending you expect

Having watched it,i find.It'sJust the run of the mill wrestling DVD.
I Brought it as a present for my son,he loves it.But most kidds of his age would.Could of had more matches.

must have to add to you're collection

The dvd all in all was good. I especially enjoyed the hall of fame. The best match has to be the main event. Taker vs Edge.

By far one of the best Manias iv ever seen, Action packed with some awsome matches. A real must see.
