Lovely film about relationships between female friends. Several racist remarks detract from the film for me

The film is about four women and the different and their different troubles. It reflects the support that women give to each other through difficult times and how they can help each other move on. It is funny and sad and realistic. It also contains a great scene where one character sets fire to her husband's car - brilliant. Don't we all wish we had done that to a cheating husband.
The odd derogatory remarks about "white women" detract from the film for me. They are unnecessary and do not add anything to the film. If the same remarks were made BY white women the remarks would be denounced - rightly so - as racist.Read full review
