A very interesting book about the work of Banksy

I used to think a piece of artwork was a painting of a nice view of the countryside or a bunch of grapes that may be good enough resemble a photograph, However as i get older i realise a piece of artwork comes in many forms and is something that creates a reaction and or conversation about the piece. I actually think this is a fantastic book if you are interested or want to know more about urban street art and what is the reason behind it.
i bought this book to learn more about banksy a Bristol street artist to see and try to understand why this artist would want to spray paint and vandalise walls around the country.
I now know a lot of the work done by the street artists is political and has a message atached.
This book has also encouraged me to watch banksys very interesting film called,"exit through the gift shop" and has also given me an interest to American street artists shepard fairey and Mr Brainwash to which i have now purchased artwork from both artists.
