Quality tap.

This is a very good tap with a "quality feel" to it. One issue, though, is the construction of the nut. It has prominent lugs to grip for hand tightening, however, you'll need to tighten with a tool for waterproofing, and I managed to break one of the lugs off. Luckily I had kept the nut from the old tap which fitted just fine, so everything is good now.Read full review

Very poor flowrate

Replacing pushfit taps on my water butts with these otherwise identical hose connector types, I now have half the flow rate I had before. Two minutes to fill a 9-litre watering can, with a full butt behind it. Will probably remove them.Read full review

Wonderful to have something that simply does what it is supposed to do. I am a total numpty when it comes to practical things. Fitting taps to beer kegs.

Fast delivery, good price and quality. I bought these to replace the taps on two plastic beer kegs which had screw in ones. They were not really suitable as they are designed to be used with the supplied back nuts. Examination of the original taps showed that they were tapered to guide them into the kegs threaded hole. That said I did get one to fit one keg, but not the other and unlike the reviews on other makes it did not drip and the flow when open was good. When fitting the nut take care to ensure it goes on correctly as the taps thread could easily be damaged. When trying to fit the tap to the stubborn keg it rolled off the bench and broke into several pieces and ended up in the bin! Win some lose some!Read full review
