Yeah not a bad game though I thought the camera angles were off putting a bit if it moved around like say dark souls etc. It'd be really good .

The most awesomenest game evr!

I must admit, I am a bit of a late comer to the world that is PS3.
I wanted a game that I could just play against one of the kids, flying around shooting at each other.
I Googled it, and found this game. Bought it off eBay (they seem to go for about £8 now as they been out for a few years now, and I just could not believe the fun it is.
Basically you cannot play it on your system alone, you play on line, with others around the world (you see the languages in the text of the games before you join).
You can split screen the action to have four people in your room, playing with/against you.
I think the games can hold up to about 32 players.
That is 32 people possibly hell bent on your destruction. While you are chasing one enemy down, another four are on your tail locking missiles at you.
It is an absolute scream.

But you do not only fly about in planes. Oh no, this game allows you the standard running around the ground, shooting and throwing grenades at people as well. You can also drive tanks, and jeeps. Other players can jump in the tanks and jeeps with you, either just hitching a ride, or controlling a machine gun on the top, then when you get to a plane, you can jump out of the tank and into the plane.

You can also create your own on line game, and it does not cost you anything to do so. This way, you can also password protect it, if you only want your mates/family to try and kill you. This is also a good idea when you first start playing, as you are so slow to begin with, the people who play it regularly (I reckon they must spend their whole day playing it!) just kill you every thirty seconds which is no real fun.

You can use a blue tooth headset to talk to other players. I have not got one yet, so not done so. In any case I am sure the words "Please dont kill me, I am new to this game" would not be heeded in the slightest, in fact it would probably all draw them to you.

The other night I was really impressed when Inotched up my 12 kills. The winner of the game had 212!

Each game lasts about 30minutes. You can drop in and out as you wish/have time for.

The game is listed as a 16+. My children of 7 upwards have played it, and I am happy for them to do so. The deaths are not macabre (as in Call of Duty), and in fact, when you are in a plane they are quite funny, as the person falls out of the sky, but obviously the ultimate decision is yours. Anyway, why let the kids have all the fun, tell them they are too young, and just enjoy it yourself..

I have nejoyed this game so much I have bought my two brother-in-laws the game for Christmas.. so we can have a large scale family battle.. On with the fun..

WARHAWK is just so much fun!!!!!

WARHAWK is a brilliant game. its quite old being from 2007 but it is so much fun. I bought this game so that i could play online with my relatives and friends. Rather then matches like COD/SOCOM, you respawn if you die and you have the use of vehicles like planes/tanks/jeeps, etc.
i suppose it is probably like battle front which i have never played so i am unable to comment. This is a great game to turn on for 30mins or 3-4 hours.

not bad...

Good looking game but on first play wasn't great for a newbie as not much instruction, inverted controls witch were awkward and couldn't find how to change until now.

Not bad will get used to it soon i hope

Cheers
