I'm a Richard Thompson completist, so I was bound to buy this eventually. It's a 3-album compilation which includes unreleased material as well as tracks from previously-released albums. I already had all the latter of course but it was still worth it to me to get the unreleased stuff - which is very good.

I especially like it for listening in the car, because it's like a whistle-stop tour of a lot of my old favourites that I can sing along to, and every now and again just to keep me awake (a good thing while driving, don't you think?) an unfamiliar track will pop up.Read full review...

The man, the guitar, the music.....magic

I had a copy of the album years ago on tape and getting a new copy on cd did not disappoint after all this time. Hard core Thompson fan or new to the man's music this is great album with some real gems. I have a few box sets of Thompson's music, live, rare and demos.
