I bought this for my husband as he had recently read the book and enjoyed it. It is a good film and similar to the original story. The book is better but my husband said'it is a very good attempt at the original story for a cartoon'. Would recommend.Read full review...

Still a hit with kids today

Bought for our grand daughter, she's had hours and hours and hours of fun watching it, great for us as well! keeps her quiet.
Also loved watching it again ourselves after 30 years or so.

Fantastic film, great for all ages.

I bought this film for nostalgic reason's and to prove my point ,my adult children and their children had damp eye's. It gives a great insight for children into how, when and why animal's are killed or die and what happen's after death as we would want kiddie's to believe. Happy viewing....Read full review...

I've already seen this movie many times but i had to add it to my collection.
It is by far one of the best films in existance.
