It does the job.
This item is quiet, and does what you'd expect. Not dazzlingly fast, but then it's a hard drive. Takes a second or two to spin up when plugged in. I wanted a reliable drive to act as a backup for all my music, photos, videos etc, and it does that well. Time is not an issue, as it starts work when I finish.
