Unit is very quiet. Seems to work well I have no issues with it. It is USB so it does run a little slow.
I wish the unit had a light on it to indicate whether it was on or off or being used. Unit shuts on and off automatically when not being used. So I suppose for the money it's a good deal.Read full review

I have two of these. Bought the first to see if I liked it so having the second should speak for itself. Use them for Poser & Daz3D graphics files storage. I've seen no signs of overheating, they are very quiet and I love the auto sleep function. The price is reasonable for the 4TB and with two of them I can split my files and still have plenty of room.
There really is no installation or set-up, just plug them in and Windows 10 does the rest. Searches are fast, transfers not lightning quick but neither is my PC. If I decide I need more storage there will be a third one of these on it's way.Read full review
