Well done documentary!

I ordered this when a friend recommended it. Excellent, in-depth documentary on Hurricane Katrina aftermath. Lots of info not shown, or talked about, on the news. It is a great commentary that is well written and produced. Compelling stories. Some images may be disturbing, but it is an unflinching, often brutal, look at the events. Everyone should see this at least once. Buy it as a record of history. Our children and grandchildren will study this in later years and this video will be a valuable resource.Read full review

When the levee broke

Being that I am from Louisiana, I was in the military stationed in Virginia when Katrina hit New Orleans, I had just purchased my house in Virginia August 25, 2005. I was looking at the news and after Katrina hit, I was so heart broken when I saw the devastation. I wasn't happy about my new house because of what my family and the people in New Orleans was going through. I purchased this DVD to show my friends here in Virginia what the people in New Orleans went through. I am glad that a DVD was made so everyone can see how the people in New Orleans suffered.Read full review

This is a must see, I was there the year before and the year after, this dvd get's you as close to being there as you can be without having been there to talk with some of the people who lost almost everything.
