Two models of Whirlpool dryers were repaired by replacing the same belt.
I have successfully repaired two different models of Whirlpool dryers by ordering the same part number of belt twice recently. The models are LG6811XSN0 and LGR8648LW0. Both are direct fits. It took longer to receive the first one. The second one was shipped much faster.Read full review

Not Quite the Right Dimensions
The belt I received does not fit properly. It was too tight making it difficult to install. During operation it interfered with the tightener. Gave up on this one and went to the local appliance store and bought a genuine Whirlpool belt. It fits just right. It is thinner than this belt. It is colored coded so it is easy to tell which side is ribbed and which is the back. Cost $22.85 but a cheap belt that doesn't work isn't worth anything.

It's perfectly working on my Kenmore Gas dryer, at first I thought it was not gonna fit but it fits perfect. I was a little bit of scared of changing it by myself but I just watched a video on You tuve of how to install it because it does not come with instructions. Can't beat OEM!
It is worth a few dollars more to get OEM quality. I've not had any problems with OEM Whirlpool belts. They fit and they work.
