Excellent fit for my GE 30 cu in microwave. Super vendor
I was looking for a trim kit for my 30 cu in GE microwave that didn’t offer a trim kit. I bought this Westinghouse trim kit open box to see if it would work with my microwave. I ended up having to modify the base by building a C shaped stand for the microwave to be the proper height position in the cabinet and get good ventilation. I then placed this stand inside the metal tray with this trim kit as it was a bit small for the oven. The plastic stainless steal face frame fit perfectly around my oven front allowing room for door opening. The frame needs to be secured into the cabinet front with the four screws provided. Screw holes must be drilled carefully at a 45 degree angle and screws put in carefully so as to not mess up the plastic frame. I’m pleased with the outcome. What I paid for this open box was about half of the big box store price. My eBay vendor was super honest and responded promptly to specific questions I had about dimensions before purchase. Not exact fit but works.
Had to drill extra holes to make it work because of our cabinet size but we made it work and looks good.
