Excellent round-up of Whitesnake's UK singles

This CD is a round-up of Whitesnake's UK singles from their formation in 1978 ("Ain't No Love In the Heart of the City") through to 1997 ("Too Many Tears", which was the band's last single at the time this collection was released).

I was familiar with a number of tracks on this album already - "Here I Go Again", "Fool For Your Loving", "Still of the Night", "Love Ain't No Stranger", "Is This Love" - but the other tracks are of a similarly high standard.

This CD provides an ideal introduction to Whitesnake - there are several Whitesnake compilations available, though "Greatest Hits" focuses on the late 80s only, and the 3-CD "30th Anniversary Collection" is a bit much if you just want the hits, which is what this CD delivers.Read full review...

If you've heard any of David Coverdale's work you'll know exactly what to expect and this ticks all the boxes very good compilation cd well worth buying as an introduction to the music of Whitesnake.
