Many years ago I bought Wilkinson pruner i used for years I was very happy unfortunately i lost it in my alogments. After that I bought many pruners more expensive ones but nothing like Wilkinson I bought Wilkinson sword 1111129wf I try it last week super very comfortable to handle and very sharp like a razor you have to be very careful when you useing it unfortunately on my first try I chop tip of my finger .LOL I recommend to any Gardiner . And price is very reasonable

Effective but not perfect

This tool does a good job of cutting but the hanldle is quite short and leverage suffers. The dark colour is also a drawback if it falls as it's very difficult to spot if it lands in the middle of a bush or hedge. Not bad overall but some basic flaws.Read full review

Great quality.

As you would expect from Wilkinson Sword the quality of these pruners is very good, comfortable grips and a locking button in a handy place to lock the blades closed when not in use.
I bought these pruners to keep at my allotment but I have a second pair of Wilkinson Sword pruners here at home and they are 1970 vintage, blades still sharp and pruners still in great shape which speaks volumes for the product.Read full review

Good everyday secateurs

Good reliable brand (I have used WS secateurs for years) & at a very good price.
These are light enough to put in a pocket whenever I stroll around the garden & require little or no cleaning.

Nice shape lock on top.

Very easy to use light weight, so easy to slip into back pocket. Lock is on the top so a good plus,
upto now am loving them. Quality seems to be good, and a good name brand.

Great product

I didn't think these pruners would be great quality for the price but they're brill, compact and lightweight, easy to use, would highly recommend.

Satisfied customer

Well made as name suggests and very effective in use. I always try and purchase branded goods, this usually proves the best way.

Neat. Do the job.

Seem good, effective, strong. Abit smaller than I anticipated but actually thats fine....they fit in my smallish hand really well. Slight annoyance is no loop to hang them up on the wall. But not a deal breaker.Read full review

Good value.

Sharp, lightweight and easy to use. The blade closure switch has to be put onvery firmly or it springs open.

Good value.

Very sharp so far, and comfortable to use, despite having weak hands. The catch to secure the blades in a closed position is a little stiff. Overall, and excellent purchase.

A CUT ABOVE THE REST.

Having used several of these secateurs over the years, when I discovered that I had inadvertently thrown mine on the bonfire with a load of branches, etc (!) I immediately looked for some exactly the same.
As anyone who does a lot of pruning and trimming will know, your utensils have to be right for YOU........
Just any old pair won't do. Couldn't find them in any garden centre. So jumped for joy when I suddenly had a brainwave - Ebay - and I was delighted to find my pruners for sale (bought two pairs in case of another calamity !!

They are very easy to work with and the sliding control on the handle is great, and very good quality steel is used. The pointy blades are exactly what's required when delving into a thickish tree or bush.
