Exactly what I wanted, but item condition was appalling

I have no problems at all with the quality of Will & Grace. 5 stars. I love the show as does my Mum, who I bought this box set for, for Christmas. I wanted this particular black and pink box set, and it's classy, has bonus material and smaller than the other W&G box set, so I was quite happy to see it on musicmagpie for a very reasonable £30.

Ordered & paid for on the same day, but it didn't arrive until 4 days after the estimated arrival time. No big deal, it's for Christmas and I ordered it well in advance.

However, although I understand that musicmagpie is for second-hand items, the description was that the item condition was 'very good', which ebay classify as "no damage to the case item or cover...the teeth of the disc holder is undamaged...minimal wear on the exterior of item" This was certainly not the case when I opened the item. The top left-hand side of the box has been severely damaged and ripped away from the seam of the box, exposing the white cardboard ripped underneath, and the flap of the 'door' that opens to reveal the DVD's is loose and has come completely away, so now it is up to me to fix these issues, as I don't want to return this, I want to give it to my Mum for Christmas! All of the DVD cases were also all completely out of order, lots of the teeth that hold the DVD's in their cases are broken away so don't hold them properly, and there are tonnes of scratches on the DVD's, but I think that hopefully this shouldn't be an issue, as I've tested quite a few now and they all seem to work without skipping.

I am not completely dissatisfied with this as it's a classy product for what I still feel is good value, but reading back the listing, this does not meet what is listed, horrendously so. Perhaps the "meticulous quality checks" need to be revised.Read full review...

will and grace No1 americam sitcom

i have watchd will and grace from the begining, and boughtthe 8 seperate box sets over the years and watched them to death, i always wanted the 8 seasons in the one black box set, and now i have it, which means i can start over again and watch them all proberbly for the 10th or more time. Centering round a gay man and his life long best friend, with the added addition of the mans best gay friend and his super rich lady friend(and her maid)this sitcom has it all, laughs ,crys ,mishaps and mayhem,love, hate , and just plain old daftness.i never tire of wills expressive angry arms, graces put downs from her assistant karen,jacks wanna be actor madness, karens drunk drug fueled bitchyness, and rosies love/hate one liners to her boss karen. my favourate episode, well them all, but my all time classic scene was mini driver dropping karens jewellry from her private parts!!, which in essence sums up the superb(wish they made more) will and grace.Read full review...

Will and Grace Season 1-8

Definitely worth the money I paid for it, which was about £65. Not as good as Friends but I don't think anything will ever be, probably about 2nd best though. If you don't like gay people or don't enjoy rude humour then don't buy it though coz it has a lot of that. Actresses and Actors are great, fantastic series, well worth the money.
I bought the black box set with all the little individual cases inside, 3 cases for each series, and two discs in each case, with pictures on them, not like the friends one (crappy silver plain discs with writing around the hole). Definitey the best box set I think, I am completely happy with. There are other boxsets out there and I looked into them first as I didn't want a crappy set, which I have got with other boxsets before, with stupid plastic sleeves. So if you want a decent not cheap looking boxset then this is definetely the one, and if you want a funny sitcom then this is a great one.Read full review...

Will and Grace

One of the best comedy shows and perfect for a DVD collection. The characters are amazing and the show has become better with each season.
You can go back to watching the show again after years as well and still love the comedy and the characters.

well what can you say bad about this show? i only have one thing, they have stopped recording! this is one of the best sitcoms ever, if you are thinking about purchaceing it then think no longer and take the plunge.
i remember watching it many years ago, loveing it, but never knowing the name, than about 3 years ago seeing it again and being old enough to remember the name. bought a lot of the individual dvds and have worn them out. and now i am the proud owner of the box set, the MUST have for any will and grace fan!Read full review...

One for the fans...

I used to watch the occasional episode of Will & Grace on Channel 4 in the mornings, and it always used to give me a good chuckle. All the 'fag and hag' jokes were excellent and the storylines were quite amusing.
Personally, I preferred following the antics of Jack and Karen..so unashamedly unPC that it drove me into hysterics... definately recommended.Read full review...

Will & Grace Complete series 1 -8 boxset.

The item is a must for all Will & Grace fans.
All 8 Series neatly contained in a sturdy black box.
Also contains a bonus disc which includes interviews, documentaries and behind the scenes extras.
Discs are a little hard to get out of the box though. Needs to be tipped up so the discs slide out.Read full review...

only friends tops this one, so interesting to watch it evolve over 8 seasons whilts loving every minute.
