Sturdy and surprisingly powerful laptop, for it's age.

The battery was dead on arrival, but that possibility was in the description so not a reflection on the seller.
It was dirt cheap: £60.
The laptop is small but has prioritised sturdy over lightweight, a welcome design choice :).
My son wanted it as an inexpenmsive laptop to experiment on, and it fits that bill perfectly.
This laptop is old, but powerful enough, it's only strong disappointment is the weak graphics card.
A few things actually leap out at you positively, like a real touchpad with two buttons, and an inbuilt optical drive, and a sensible keyboard.
So in short, it's not a powerhouse of modernity, but a relic of possibly the heyday of good laptop design, where usability was prioritised over slimness, and laptops were built to rival computers instead of phones.
