Alas, It Is A Miss Rather Than A Hit...

I expected better from a Wiss tool. I can't speak to the quality of steel the jaws are made of, but my first impression is the line of cut will be tough to control because the pivot points at the compound action-to-jaws are much too sloppy. The jaws have way too much side-to-side slop relative to the handles for precision control in my opinion. Hence the harsh review. If any thing, I will have to dissect the tool and make up some shims and possibly new pivot axles to correct the slop or simply toss it and try another brand of compound action long-jaw shears.Read full review
