Wide gear range Roadbike!
Wow talk about terrain flexibility, in the past several decades I have had to go from riding a 53-39 crank with an 11-23 cassette to a 50-34 and 11-36, yes I have gotten old. Thanks to the Wolf tooth I can still tackle the terrain that I used to do but now it is a little easier. One note is that to get the full use of your gear train you must have a mid length rear derailleur. A short just won't cut it. I had to get rid of my beloved Dura Ace shorty and get a long cage Ultra. The system works great and well worth the money.Read full review

May work for specific crank system
It is not compatible with my DuraAce 7900, with a 34T Shimano flywheel for the rearderailuer. The ratio of two systems, DuraAce and Tiagra are different. You will end up losing one of the gear. My bike mechanic recommended not to install it. It may bounce back due to high tension to hit the frame. Do consult a proper bike mechanic.Read full review

Good way to avoid purchasing a new derailleur.
I have used this product three times now. It is good but not perfect.
My primary purpose has always been to install a cassette with a larger sprocket. If one has a small cage Shimano derailleur, the largest cassette recommended by Shimano is an 11-28. This will allow one to add a larger cassette. I have used an 11-32. The biggest problem though is that the chain has to be lengthened and if cross chaining from small chainring to small cog, the chain has slack that can be an issue.
The outcome has to be either using a shorter chain,( which results in the large to large binding), or using the longer chain and avoiding small to small. An experienced-rider avoids those combinations anyhow so I am using it with no issues.Read full review

Linderts Road Link
Great Rear Derailleur adapter to install on any Road Bike wanting very low gearing, I have two of these mounted on my road bikes and let me tell you these "WORK"! There are a lot of YouTube videos on this RoadLink Adapter, I am running on my road bike two cassettes 11-36t and 11-40t with short cage 105 RD, Just make sure you follow the instructions on Wolftooth website, My brother's bike has a triple up front and Wolf tooth says it won't support triple chain rings but it works prefect on my brothers bike and No Additional modification done to the drivetrain!Read full review

Wolf Roadlink
I had a 2x10 Tiagra drive train on my Cannondale CAADX (46/34 and 12x32). It worked fine but with all the hills around my house I wanted a 1x setup. I went to a 40 tooth chainring and an 11x40 cassette thanks to Roadlink. Put the 40t on the outer slot, installed the 11x40(10 spd), and the Roadlink. Shifting performance is unchanged and I now have a contiguous set of 10 gears. Very happy with Roadlink. BTW, my total cost for conversion was about $90.Read full review

Very effective!
I am using it with an 11-42 tooth cassette and it works great as long as you don't use the big chainring and 42 tooth cog simultaneously. To me, it is MUCH more important to have the lower gears than not be able to use 1 gear combo. I highly recommend the road link.Read full review

Lower gears
This derailleur extension allows for significantly bigger gears. Wolf tooth also makes 40 and 42 tooth cogs. You can replace your 15 or 17 tooth cog from your cassette and all the bigger gear on the top end. I used this part and a 40 tooth on my tandem to give us a lower gear combination for the big hills. Top quality and works perfectly.Read full review

Good for wide ranges
Works as it's supposed to, allows room from hangar slack. Using a Grx gravel 2x crankset with a 105 road groupset and 32t cassette Works perfectly with chain tension required to achieve the long gear jump on Big to big gears.Read full review

Works great for 9 speed
Installed in minutes. A nice solution for aging baby boomers who still want to ride racing bikes but don't want to use a triple crankset.
