Wolf Creek PT75 750W Electric Chainsaw

BEST power tool ever I've ever bought!

I have thick trees/bushes overhanging my garden from council owned land. They used to accept responsibility and cut them back, but that stopped some years ago. So I bought this product, probably more in hope than anticipation that it would be effective at cutting them back to the border of my property.

First things to say, the instructions aren't great and it requires chainsaw oil, which it doesn't come with. Bear that in mind if you buy. But it was fairly obvious how to assemble and use it, and the 5 litre tub of oil I bought for it (£13 inc postage) will probably outlast me!

Some of the reviews I read about this product suggested it ripped through branches rather than cut. That certainly isn't my experience. It sliced through them, literally like a hot knife through butter!! It's absolutely brilliant!! It's very quick and easy to extend/shorten the pole and I found the contraption lighter and far easier to use than the extendable hedge trimmer that I made the mistake of buying a week or so earlier.

Normally I hate any form of gardening, but I have to say I REALLY enjoyed using this and felt disappointed when I was finished only because I didn't have any more branches to cut!Read full review

powerful motor and easy to use pole saw

This saw works with very little effort,I have taken branches to the max blade size and over blade size with double cutting,the chain is still sharp. the reach is just about right as it has the advantage of a heavy enough motor to enable very easy cutting at length,so no extra pressure required to cut.

Mini chainsaw massacre.

A really neat and useful device. I have lime trees growing at the rear of my garden, the branches hang down very low. This cuts out the light to shrubs and the grass, which eventually die off. Using this tool,. I was able to cut the offending branches back to the trunk and tidy up all the stragglers as well. Saw worked very well and was perfectly designed to do the work I required of it. Best to use the shoulder strap if planning to do a medium to large job, purely for comfort and manoeuvrability. I used an extension lead with an RCD plug just to be safe. Very happy with the machine and the job. The only downside is that it is so efficient, that you get carried away tidying up your trees and branches. Then realize that you are waist deep in cut branches, which have to be cleared up and disposed of, taking hours to do. I found product to be well priced and very useful for the job intended. Used the saw for the first time today and it has made my life a lot easier. Trimmed up my garden tree in about half a day. Usually takes 2 days . Would recommend this chainsaw . easy to use, instructions could be better but it's not rocket science, cuts thick branches with ease and not too heavy to manoeuvre when having to reach for a awkward branch.

Pole Mounted Hedge Trimmer.

This is a well made tool that works well.
The downside is that the motor sits close to the blades and it is heavy.
This means that with the pole extended it is pulling down and hard to handle.<br>I can only use it for a short time but then I am 72 and not as fit as I was. For a
younger person it would be fine,

Had a large cherry tree to tidy up. Tried with a hand saw up a double extended ladder, a bit to unsafe for some large branches. Still had to use the ladder but much safer. Wolf Creek Polesaw

Excellent product, does what it is designed to do, with ease. Use safely
by following the safety instructions in the manual and be aware of the
hazzard of falling branches that can cause injury, to people and damage
to property. Whilst the chain cutter uses little chain soil oil, the oil level in the little tank window on the polesaw must be check and topped up when necessary, to avoid damage to the chainsaw and allow smooth operating. A very efficient saw indeed.Read full review
