Wolfmother - Half and Half?

Heard a couple of tracks before I bought this(Woman and Joker & the Thief), and found that the album was pretty good. I would say that it is an album of two halves, the first half (up to track 7 - Colossal) being the better half. The second half didn't inspire my enthusiasm, and I started to lose interest.Read full review...

It's OK.

That's the music I like, but next album (Cosmic Egg) I like more. Anyway eBay is my favorite place to buy CD's just because it simple and quite many choices.

Hopefully, we'll see more from them

As they've alread admitted, they are very much like Led Zeppelin, and the lead singer/guitarist is essentially a younger version of Robert Plant with an enormous head of hear - albeit not quite as good as Robert Plant. The special edition is well worth the extra money; being just as balanced and high-standard as the normal edition, but with another track. If you like this band you'll like the other Australian indie band "Evermore", very similar vocals but more like Embrace than Led Zeppelin.Read full review...

Wolfmother Album (2006)

Wolfmother are one of the only modern day bands i really follow and take an interest in.

They differ to a lot of the bands out there in that they are truly bringing back Rock and Roll in its purest form.

If you like bands such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, etc, then Wolfmother is the modern day equivalent for you!

Wolfmother

All I need say is:

"Worship The Mother!"

If you're a fan of Black Sabbath or Led Zep, this band is well worth a look with the lead singer sounding not too dissimilar to Ozzy.

Buy it! Beg, borrow or scrounge, it's worth it.Read full review...

HEAVY METAL LIKE IT USED TO BE

A very welcome addition to anyones collection who enjoy heavy metal.
The album has many influences from the early 70`s bands, some deep purple, bit of atomic rooster, even some priest in there, l have enjoyed it from start to finish, well Wolfmother, Bazza180Read full review...

wolfmother

at last, a rock band that sounds exactly as they should. 70's rock not that awful "death, kill, hate" rubbish that seems to be under the illusion of "ROCK MUSIC"

Wolfmother CD

If you like shades of Black Sabbath with a modern groove and adequate singing then you'll LOVE this band!
