Great film about crossword puzzle nuts

This film follows the annual crossword puzzle playoff in the Stamford , CT Marriott hotel that takes place mid-winter. Will Shortz of NYT crossword puzzle fame is the organizer. The film builds to a climax slowly by introducing the 2007 contestants and also profiling who are the famous crossword puzzle aficionados such as Pres. Clinton (does it in pen) et al . Believe it or not the tension rises and yes there is a final playoff after the crowd of very good players is weeded out. Interesting flick about everyday people who love word puzzles. I can t finish even the easy ones but I found the film fun and informative.Read full review
