Excellent lightweight hedge cutter.
This battery powered hedge cutter is the easiest cutter I have ever used, it is lighter and feels better balanced than my old corded one of the same size with much less vibration back through my hands. Very pleased with my purchase, I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a small bladed hedge cutter. It is well worth the price, I bought the bare unit as I already have batteries and a charger with my Worx lawnmower so didn't need to more.Read full review

Excellent 20v Hedge Trimmer
I am retired so not as fit as I was so I needed a trimmer that would be light to use for an hour at a time. I also have 200 mts of Privit hedge that needs trimming twice a year so I needed a powerful tool and this 20v model did the job. The batteries last about 20 mins and as I already have 10 other Worx tools I have plenty of batteries and chargers, so I have 3 with me and 3 more on charge. I find that I can cope with an hour cutting in the morning, and then after sweeping up the cuttings, an hour in the afternoon using my second batch of batteries
For cutting the thicker hedge branches back 1 have a Worx mini hand held chain saw and a Worx electric saw. I can swap batteries between tools as and when required
I considered the 40volt models but I have a Worx 14” chain saw and I find the weight of the extra battery limits the use of that tool to just a 20 minute session and feared that I would reduce my personal efficiency had I gone for the 40V model. We’re I 20 years younger I would have gone for the 40 model but our hedges are 2m high so half the cutting is above my shoulders, so that is the benefit of the lighter 20v model
The tool will jam if you force it, so just let it glide over the hedge even if it means making two passes and be sure to wear safety gear as tool can kick back occasionally

For such a light piece of equipment which doesn't sound loud and powerful, it cuts really well and is definitely worth the money.
