this is a small chain saw that works off a 20v rechargeable battery,,,,,,,it's not so heavy a woman can use it easy,,,,,very quiet when running,,,,,and cuts branches 4 to 6 in, and can reduce them to nice size pieces of firewood,,,,,you can stand over a limb on the ground and push the saw thru this limb and the chain will not get into the dirt,,,,,,great for camping,,,,bring in small limbs to your site and go to work there without people in the campground complaining of the noise of a motor saw,,,,,,,,order another battery or two for back up and keep them charged,,,,,we liked the first saw so much we have two now,,,,,his and her's,,,,,,,,,,Read full review

Great JawSaw

Gets the chores done.

I bought this for a specific project. I had hedges that had grown too large for trimmers and yet kicked around against the chain saw. Enter the Jawsaw. It was great that the small limbs were held in the jaw and cut several at a time. The plastic does feel a little cheap but if you treat your tools correcly I have no doubt it will last. The battery life was great and I was able to dispatch the final 31/2 bushes in less than 1/2 hours time. After that I proceeded to cut down a couple of three inch trees that had grown up in the middle of some other hedges. I was able to get very close to the base laying the Jawsaw flat on the ground and did not get chewed up climbing in to the bushes themselves due to the reach. This is a great tool to have to help in the clean up of a large yard. Never went through one full battery yet! Winner!Read full review

Heavy but portable

Have most of Worx 20 V products and find them of excellent quahainsaw lity. Therefore lots of batteries.
This chainsaw is very safe with chain being covered. Purchased extension arm as well and find great cutting. Unit is heavy but when placed on limb not a problem as safety shroud supports unit while cutting. I love no cord!Read full review

A useful tool....

Especially for an old man! Ha ha. Been using both gas and corded electric chainsaws for years. Saw a couple of video reviews on this saw on u-tube and was impressed. It's designed for small stuff, up to 3.5 inches, but that is what kills my back with a regular saw, all that bending over. This saw solves that problem! And with a pick up tool (a pickeroon), I do not even need to bend over to load the pieces into a carrier. Used it for the first time today and it was as demonstrated in the videos. Was out for about 30 minutes and the charge is still holding. You can get into a rock with it, but only when trying to cut bushes horizontal to the ground.

Safe & light weight
